Rabbits have to gnaw – if they didn’t, their teeth would be almost one and a half meters long after one year.
Rabbit hearts beat fast, 130 to 325 times per minute.For comparison: a human heart gets 60 to 100 beats per minute.
Rabbits cannot throw up.
Rabbits are vegetarians and only eat at dusk.
Rabbits eat their own stools.
Outside the mating season, rabbits are solitary animals. The European rabbit-family is very manageable in size and consists of altogether of four types: the feldrabbit, the rabbit of Wüsen, the snow hare and the wild rabbit.
